About

Why PromptCorrector exists and what you can do with it.

TL;DR

PromptCorrector is a free, in-browser formatter with no install and no account. Use it to prepare text for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot—or any other assistant—and to clean up replies you copy out. Pick input and output formats, transform once, then copy or download.

Privacy

Formatting runs in your browser. There is no account and no sign-in; your text is not uploaded to our servers for processing because we do not operate a backend that stores or reformats your paste.

Who it’s for

Anyone who works with AI chat tools and wants consistent, readable text without fighting the editor.

  • Writers and knowledge workers who paste between apps and browsers.
  • Power users who want plain, Markdown, or “AI-ready” layouts on demand.
  • Developers who need JSON, YAML, CSV, Markdown, or HTML cleaned or converted.

Prompts and responses

  • Before you send: strip noise, normalize spacing, and match the format your assistant reads best.
  • After you receive: turn messy replies into structured Markdown, plain text, or other formats for notes, tickets, or code.

Simple workflow

Paste or type in the input, choose formats, run Transform, then copy or download. Optional normalization handles odd spaces and line endings before processing.

Quick examples

  • Paste noisy HTML from a web page and get Markdown for a clearer prompt to ChatGPT or Claude.
  • Pretty-print minified JSON or YAML from an API response before you drop it into Gemini, Copilot, or your docs.

For programmers

Beyond prose, you can move between structured formats—JSON, YAML, CSV-style tables, Markdown, and sanitized HTML—so pasted logs, API snippets, and grids become easier to read or drop into your toolchain.
